Centro de Tennis Honda, San Juan,
Puerto Rico. The USTA CARIBBEAN SECTION did not have a tennis
facility in Puerto Rico with adequate tennis facilities to host a major
tennis event. The Association retained Global to develop a Master Plan
and the tennis specific construction documents for a new Tennis Center
working with a local Architectural firm. The facility hosted the Davis
Cup Tie between Puerto Rico and Jamaica in April 2004. The final phase
includes a permanent Stadium Court, a 4-Court Training Facility, a large
Clubhouse and a tournament support area. |
