Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Center, Town of Palm Beach, Florida.
The Town of Palm Beach has a tennis facility at Seaview Park in the
center of town with six clay courts and two hard surfaced courts which
are very heavily used. The Town elected to construct a smaller tennis
facility in Phipps Ocean Park, immediately adjacent to the ocean and
beach. Existing parking facilities made it a logical site choice. Global
was engaged to design a total tennis complex with six sub-surface
irrigated tennis courts, a Pro Shop/Control Building, Entrance Plaza
with a Player/Spectator Pavilion and maintenance facilities. |
